I built Heart Restarted because of what happened to me, and because I could not find the support I needed when I was trying to recover.

Today

How is your energy today?

One tap. No right answer. Nothing leaves this page.

For the people who love them

You sat in the waiting room. Now you are at home, and nobody gave you a leaflet. The survivor can send you a link with a short note in their own words, the contacts they choose, and whether they checked in in the last 24 hours. That is all it shows. You do not need an account, and they can switch it off whenever they like.

A small community, run by a survivor

Heart Restarted is new. If you join now you are among the first members, and Leo reads every post and replies. Each week there is one question to answer in a small hosted circle, and nobody has to say anything to belong.

Further along? Your story is what a new survivor needs to hear.

Why I built this

On March 13, 2023, my heart stopped outside my gym. A stranger did CPR until the ambulance came. I was put on ECMO as a last resort, and I woke up a week later with my wife by my side.

Surviving was only the start. I went back to work too soon, and I learned how real the anxiety after something like this can be. My wife was always there, but she could not know what I was feeling, and I did not know anyone who had been through it. I felt scared and alone.

I built Heart Restarted so survivors, and the people who were there with them, can find each other and ask what is normal. You do not have to do this alone.
