Delete your Heart Restarted account

Delete it yourself in the app

Open Heart Restarted and sign in.
Go to Me, then Account and security.
Choose Delete My Account, type DELETE and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away. The same steps work on the website at heartrestarted.com.

What is deleted

Your profile, your posts and stories, your messages (also from the other person's inbox), your connections, your check-in count, your notification settings, your picture and the email and device records tied to you. Nothing is kept once your account is deleted, apart from routine database backups, which expire within a short time.

Your safety plan, questions and tool notes are saved only on your own phone or computer. Deleting in the app clears them on that device. Removing the app clears them too.

Heart Restarted is free, so there is no subscription to cancel.

Ask us to delete it for you

If you cannot use the app, send this request. We check that the email address matches an account, delete the account and everything above, and reply to that address within 7 days.
